We are looking for a Site Superintendent for Vancouver area. Do you have at least 8 years of relevant work experience as Site Superintendent? As a Site Superintendent, you are the key person in leading and managing the on site construction team. You get to oversee the construction process and are responsible for overall construction activities within the established design, budget and scheduling guidelines. You also have a strong understanding of the construction trades, how construction projects proceed and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Job Description
The Site Superintendent shall be responsible in performing the following:

Site review and development of site strategy plan as it pertains to access, public protection, material deliveries, concrete staging, hoist and crane location, building codes site offices and other related requirements

Plan and organize daily operations in an efficient and effective manner

Monitor construction schedules and project progress

Ensure safety regulations and measures are being followed and maintained

Maintain positive relationships with the public, clients, sub trades and architects, etc

Must have the ability to read and understand drawings

Must have a strong safety record

Must have current knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and legislations
