Job Description

​

The Construction Project Manager shall be responsible in performing the following:​​

  • Oversee Construction Projects from inception to completion

  • Maintain good relations with clients while managing the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests

  • Upon being awarded the Project, develop, recommend and implement the project plan

  • Do Project planning, scheduling, cost control and budgeting

  • Manage clients and subcontractor relationships

  • With the Snr PM, liaise with legal counsel where appropriate, negotiate and review contracts

  • Ensure that projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule

  • Perform risk management and mitigation 

  • Resolve disputes between Client or subcontractors and the Company before they escalate

  • Mentor and develop construction teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met

Qualifications

You must have:​

  • 8-10 years of project management experience, preferably on commercial-mixed use / residential combination buildings

  • Demonstrated ability leading and mentoring project teams

  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes

  • Exceptional Project and Time Management skills

  • Passion for construction and high work ethic

  • Mid to high rise residential / commercial concrete project management experience required

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
