
Job Description
A growing food manufacturer in the Waterloo Region is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor, preferably with 433A Millwright and/or Electrician certification/qualification. The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on role that will be responsible in working alongside 10 to 12 team members to maintain production equipment as well as doing some project-based work. The successful candidate must have the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills on a regular basis while working on manufacturing facility equipment such as blenders, mixers, fryers, conveyors, labelers, packaging, ovens and more.
The Millwright/Maintenance Supervisor shall be responsible for performing the following:

Perform hands-on millwright/maintenance work with tools, equipment and facility

Perform inspection and facility/equipment management

Lead a team of up to 12 team members in the department

Organize, prioritize, train and delegate work as necessary

Work in the afternoon shift from 1:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday

Ensure to keep qualifications up to date for maintaining/growing skill sets and gain additional tickets relevant to the position

Perform other duties as assigned
Salary: $85,000 CAD to $95,000 CAD Annually
Qualifications
You must have:

at least 3 to 5 years of previous leadership experience, ideally as a Maintenance Supervisor

Millwright 433A ticket preferred, but will consider Electricians with a strong mechanical skill set

Refrigeration B ticket preferred or considered a plus

ability to use Microsoft office programs
